Standing the 2012 season at: Crimson Acres
Stud Fee: $500.
"Artie" stands 15.3H, is a dun color with large blanket and spots.
He will be standing the 2012 season at Crimson Acres for a stud fee of $500. The $200 booking fee, which is included as part of the stud fee, is due at time of scheduling. There are still openings. Artie is enrolled with the Appaloosa Breeders Trust, so all 2013 foals will be eligible. Other breeds besides Appaloosas, Quarter Horses and Thoroughbreds will also be considered.
Offered at stud in 2012 is I'm His Last Gift, a four year old 15.3H registered dun Appaloosa stallion. "Artie" is a well-mannered and versatile stallion who should cross well with a variety of mares. He has experience showing at both the open and regional horse show level, and has qualified for the ApHC World Show; even though we have not been able to work the long trip to Texas into our schedule yet.
The best thing about our stallion is his temperament, Artie can already be ridden by novice, non-pro and youth level riders, but can also step up his performance for the open class level. So far Artie has been started in western pleasure, hunter under saddle, hunter in hand, halter, showmanship and horsemanship.
Artie is in training for versatility and will be competing at Extreme Cowboy competitions this year, as well as at the usual open and regional Appaloosa shows in the area.
